KEDAR

They were a numerous and powerful tribe, not of the best reputation, Psalms 120:5, and their name is sometimes put for the whole of Arabia Desert and its wandering inhabitants, Isaiah 21:16, Isaiah 1:21Isaiah 1:42. Their black camel’s hair tents are a picturesque feature in a landscape, Song of Solomon 1:5.
