Eutuchites A denomination in the third century; so called from the Greek, which signifies to live without pain, or in pleasure. Among other sentiments, they held that our souls are placed in our bodies only to honour the angels who created them; and that we ought to rejoice equally in all events, because to grieve would be to dishonour the angels, their creators.
