1. The perfections of God, Deuteronomy 32:4.

2. The purposes of God, Ephesians 1:11.

3. The commands of God, Hebrews 12:9.

4. The promises of God, 1 Peter 5:7.

5. Our own interest, Hosea 1:2-15.

6. The prospect of eternal felicity, Hebrews 4:9.
