Hadad-Rimmon A city in the valley of Megiddo, or plain of Jezreel or Esdraelon; named from Hadad the Syrian sun god and Rimmon, another Syrian idol. Jerome calls the city Maximianopolis, from the emperor Maximian; not far from Jezreel.
