1 Chroniques 29:5

The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

Qui est alors prêt à consacrer son service? [ lªmalo'owt (H4390) yaadow (H3027)] - pour remplir sa main; i: e., faire une offre (Exode 32:29; Lévitique 8:33; 1 Rois 13:33). Le sens est que quiconque contribuerait volontairement, comme il l'avait fait, offrirait une offrande de libre arbitre au Seigneur. David, en demandant des offrandes de libre arbitre pour le temple, a imité la conduite de Moïse en référence au tabernacle (Exode 25:1 - Exode 25:8).
