L'exécution de Naboth a été annoncée et sa famille est impliquée dans la même condamnation fatale (2 Rois 9:26) sa propriété a été confisquée au profit de la Couronne, non pas par la loi, mais par l'usage traditionnel (voir les notes à 2 Samuel 16:4).
