The rolling thunder of the man's voice continued even as Daniel collapsed to the ground and hid himself from the glorious sight, and then fell into a swoon, a deep unnatural sleep, with his face towards the ground (compare Daniel 8:18; Genesis 2:21; Genesis 15:12).
