ἰᾶταί σε Ἰησοῦς Χριστός, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole. As in the cure of the cripple at the Temple gate (Acts 3:6), the Apostle makes known that he is but the messenger, and that the healer is Christ. We are not told that Æneas was a disciple, but it may be inferred that he was among ‘the saints,’ and that thus Peter was brought unto him.

καὶ στρῶσον. The noun τὴν κλίνην, or some equivalent, must be understood after this verb.
