οὐκ ἔστιν�. Nothing is to be understood; the words are to be taken literally: ‘If I bear any witness other than that which My Father bears, that witness of Mine is not true.’ In John 8:14, we have an apparent contradiction to this, but it is only the other side of the same truth: ‘My witness is true because it is really My Father’s.’
