COLOSSIANS—NOTE ON Colossians 1:12 share in the inheritance. God’s promise to Israel under the old covenant (see Genesis 13:14; Numbers 26:52); Paul applies it to Gentiles under the new covenant. saints. “Holy ones” or “consecrated people.”
