Luke 24:13

LUKE—NOTE ON Luke 24:13 That very day is the first day of the week, Sunday (see v. Luke 24:1). two of them. One is unnamed, the other is Cleopas (v. Luke 24:18). They were going to Emmaus, possibly after having celebrated the Passover in Jerusalem. The location of Emmaus is uncertain, but it was in Judea seven miles (11 km) from Jerusalem.
