“Salvation” (or, if ἡ be pressed, the salvation we enjoy) be ascribed “to our God and to the Lamb”. The subordinate nature of the seven spirits (Revelation 1:4; Revelation 4:5) is shown by the fact that no praise is offered to them throughout the Apocalypse, although in Iranian theology (Bund. xxx. 23): “all men become of one voice and praise aloud Aûharmazd and the archangels in the renovated universe”.
