6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

A. Made us kings - Christians, as fellow citizens in the Kingdom of Christ, are also kings.

B. Priests unto God - Christ is our King of kings and our High Priest. We are kings and priests, participants in the spiritual kingdom of our Lord. We are a royal priesthood. (1 Peter 2:5) We do not go to a priest. We are the priests. We are a priesthood of believers.

C. Glory and dominion - All praise, honor and glory belong to Jesus. He is the ruler. He has all authority. (Matthew 28:18) He is our King forever.

D. Amen - Just as we end our prayers with this word, it is often used to denote the end of a section. This verse ends the opening greeting. What follows is the heart of the message.
