He therefore that supplieth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? The idea is this: Does God, who works miracles among you (or perhaps in you-- Galatians 2:8; Matthew 14:2; Ephesians 2:2; Philippians 2:13), do it as a result of your obedience to the law, or because you have heard the gospel and believed it?
