(μετα των αρωματων). Late word αρωμα for spices, from fumes.To bury

(ενταφιαζειν). Late verb, from ενταφια (εν, ταφος) the burial preparations of all sorts (flowers, perfumes, etc.), in N.T. only here and Matthew 26:12.
