In order to pray acceptably, we must have a kind and forgiving disposition. If we do not forgive others, our heavenly Father will not forgive us. To inculcate this truth, and impress it upon our minds, God has made it our duty daily to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." Matthew 6:12-15.
