stood up. Being summoned by the superintendent (Luke 4:17). This incident (Luke 4:16) is peculiar to Luke.

(See Milligan, Selections, pp 39, 112.) The Lord preached in other synagogues, but read only here in Nazareth, which shows that He owned, and was owned, to be. member of this.
