(a) The Atonement for the Sanctuary (Ezekiel 45:18)

This was to take place twice yearly, on the first days of the first and seventh months. These two days in Ezekiel serve the same purpose as the great Day of Atonement on the tenth day of the seventh month (Leviticus 16; Numbers 29:7).
