Sherebiah. [Sherebi'ah]
A Levite who with his sons and brethren returned from exile: he assisted Ezra, sealed the covenant, and was a chief of the choir. Ezra 8:18; Nehemiah 8:7; Nehemiah 9:4, Nehemiah 1:9; Nehemiah 10:12; Nehemiah 12:8, Nehemiah 1:12. In Ezra 8:24 apparently the same is called a priest.
