For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. FOR HER WOUND IS INCURABLE - her case, politically and morally, is desperate (). The English version is better than margin. The Hebrew plural, 'her wounds' (literally, 'her strokes,' inflicted by God), joined with the verb singular, 'is incurable,' implies that the assertion is true both of all generally and of each individually.
