Then king Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had builded; and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

Puis le roi Asa fit une proclamation. Les fortifications que Baasaha avait érigées à Ramah furent démolies, et avec les matériaux furent construits d'autres défenses, là où Asa pensait qu'elles étaient nécessaires; à Geba (maintenant Jeba) et Mizpah (maintenant Neby Samwil), à environ deux heures de voyage au nord de Jérusalem.
