Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:

Ashdod , [Septante, Aseedooth] - maintenant Esdud, au sud-ouest d'Ekron.

Avec ses villes - littéralement, ses filles.

Et ses villages - i: e., enclos pastoraux.

Gaza , [ `Azaah (H5804), le fort; Septante, Gaza] - maintenant Ghuzzeh, situé à environ trois miles de la mer.

Rivière d'Égypte - el-Arish.
