Proverbi 23:23

Buy the truth, and sell it not. — The “truth” is here described under the three heads of wisdom, self-discipline, and understanding. (See above, on Proverbi 1:2.) All these are to be obtained from God (Giacomo 1:5), who gives to every man “liberally,” “without money and without price” (Isaia 55:1).
