ἔντρομος γεν. (cf. Acts 10:4, ἔμφοβος γεν.), Acts 16:29, cf. Exodus 3:6, expression used only in Acts in these two passages (Hebrews 12:21, quotation from LXX). ἔμφοβος is found five times in Luke, Luke 24:5; Luke 24:37, in Acts 10:4; Acts 24:25 (only once elsewhere, in Revelation 11:13. with ἐγένοντο), and in each passage with γενόμενος. ἔντρομος, Dan. (Theod.) Acts 10:11, Wis 17:10, 1Ma 13:2, and in Psalms 17:7 (Psalms 18:7), psa 76:18 (Psalms 77:18), ἔντρομος ἐγενήθη ἡ γῆ the word is also used by Plutarch.
