Examples of women who adorned themselves with such good works are found in: Acts 16:14; Acts 9:36; 1 Peter 3:3. “Every Christian woman should prize more highly. testimony to her loving deeds of service than. reputation as the best-dressed woman in the congregation” (p. 66).

1 Timothy 2:10 “As befits”: This is the adornment that “fits”. woman professing to be faithful.

1 Timothy 2:10 “Women making. claim to godliness”: That is women who are claiming to be worshippers of God. “Godliness” is defined as reverence towards God. “A woman who wants to proclaim loud and clear that she is. Christian, does so by her deeds” (Reese p. 66).
