Acts 7:12 siti,a

The Textus Receptus reads si/ta (“wheat, grain”) with H P and many minuscules, whereas î74 a A B C D E al read siti,a (“food [made from grain]”). Siti,on is found only here in the New Testament, and only once in the Septuagint ( Proverbs 30:22); scribes would therefore be tempted to assimilate it to the more frequently used si/ton, which occurs 14 times in the New Testament, and 79 times in the Septuagint.
