Exodus 27:1-21

Contents: Directions about the brazen altar and the court.

Conclusion: Sinful man dare not approach God (at the ark) Hebrews 9:8; but God approaches man as a sinner through Christ (brazen altar). There were blood prints all the way from the ark to the altar. Redeemed on that path, the sinner is safe in the courts of God.

Striking Facts: In Jesus, God comes down in grace to the sinner. In Jesus the sinner is brought up in righteousness to God. These are our only grounds of standing before God.
