_THERE SHALL NO STRANGER EAT OF THE HOLY THING: A SOJOURNER OF THE PRIEST, OR AN HIRED SERVANT, SHALL NOT EAT OF THE HOLY THING._ There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing. Care in the enforcement of the law of offerings (Leviticus 22:17) Uncleanness such as mentioned in the first part of the chapter prohibited the partaking of holy things.
