Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

Tu m'as aussi donné le bouclier de ton salut - i: e., ton bouclier salvateur, ta toute-puissante défense.

Et ta douceur m'a fait grand , [ wa`anotªkaa (H6031)] - ta gentillesse condescendante (comme montré aux inférieurs: cf. 2 Samuel 7:18; Psaume 8:4; Ésaïe 66:2).
