Ésaïe 13:10

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Les étoiles ... ne doivent pas donner leur lumière ... - figuratif pour l'anarchie, la détresse et les révolutions des royaumes (Ésaïe 34:4; Joël 2:10; Ézéchiel 32:7 - Ézéchiel 32:8; Amos 8:9; Apocalypse 6:12 - Apocalypse 6:14). Il peut y avoir enfin un accomplissement littéral, ombragé sous cette image (Apocalypse 21:1).

Et les constellations - Hébreu, kªciyl (H3684), un imbécile ou impie; appliqué à la constellation d'Orion, qui était représentée comme un géant impie (Nimrod déifié, le fondateur de Babylone) enchaîné au ciel. Voir note, Job 38:31.
