Lamentations 4:12

The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.

Les rois ... et tous les habitants du monde, n'auraient pas cru que l'adversaire ... aurait dû entrer aux portes de Jérusalem. Jérusalem était si fortifiée que tous la trouvaient imprenable. Ce ne pouvait donc être que la main de Dieu, et non la force de l'homme, qui la renversait.
