Jam. 4:14. "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow: for what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." Here seems to be an allusion to that vapor in the breath (that is as it were man's life), sometimes while the breath is warm; but as soon as it is cool, vanishes away as it were in a moment. See Job 7:7 and Psalms 78:39.
