And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them.

1. Alone, and in need of a way to pay for food and travel, Paul located Aquila and Priscilla.

2. They had several things in common.

1. They were Jews.

2. They were tent makers, which was Paul's former trade.

3. They had suffered persecution and were "kicked out" of Rome.
