1 Corinthians 11:23

For I received of the Lord [Paul did not receive his knowledge as to the supper from the apostles or other witnesses (comp. Galatians 1:11-12). To be truly an apostle and witness (Acts 1:8), it was fitting that Paul should have his knowledge from the fountain source.
