Jesus is led away to be crucified Matthew 27:32-44; Mark 15:21-32; Luke 23:26-43; John 19:17-22; Matthew 27:32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross. Mark 15:21 And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross. Luke 23:26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear [it] after Jesus. John 19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth Luke 23:27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

Luke 23:28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

Luke 23:29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed [are] the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

Luke 23:30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

Luke 23:31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Luke 23:32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Matthew 27:33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, Mark 15:22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, into a place called [the place] of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided [him], saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. Matthew 27:34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted [thereof], he would not drink. Mark 15:23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received [it] not. Luke 23:36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. Mark 15:24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. Luke 23:37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. John 19:18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. Matthew 27:36 And sitting down they watched him there; Mark 15:25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. Matthew 27:37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Mark 15:26 And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Luke 23:38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. John 19:19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put [it] on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. John 19:20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, [and] Greek, [and] Latin.

John 19:21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

John 19:22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. Matthew 27:38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. Mark 15:27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. Luke 23:32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. End John ' s account Mark 15:28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. Matthew 27:39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, Mark 15:29 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, Matthew 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Mark 15:30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross. Matthew 27:41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said, Mark 15:31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, Matthew 27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. Mark 15:32 (a) Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. Matthew 27:43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. Matthew 27:44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. Mark 15:32 (b) And they that were crucified with him reviled him. Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. Luke 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
