Ésaïe 40:28

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard that the everlasting God the LORD the Creator of the ends of Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

N'as-tu pas connu - par ta propre observation et lecture des Écritures.

N'as-tu pas entendu - de la tradition des pères.

(Que) l'éternel ...? Ces attributs de Yahweh devraient inspirer confiance à Son peuple affligé.

(Il n'y a) aucune recherche de sa compréhension - donc ta cause ne peut, comme tu le dis, échapper à Son attention: bien que beaucoup de ses voies soient insondables, Il ne peut pas se tromper (Job 11:7 - Job 11:9). Il n'est jamais «faible» ou «fatigué» d'avoir à répondre aux innombrables besoins de son peuple.
