Ézéchiel 28:18

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

Tu as souillé tes sanctuaires - i: e., les lieux saints, attribués au roi de Tyr en Ézéchiel 28:14 comme sa position idéale. Comme il l'a "profané", Dieu le "profanera" (Ézéchiel 28:16).

Je ferai donc sortir un feu du milieu de toi, il te dévorera - comme il a abusé de sa supposée élévation au milieu des "pierres de feu" (Ézéchiel 28:16), ainsi Dieu fera de Son "feu" pour le "dévorer".
