He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

Le texte hébreu, Kethibh, lit, [wªqar de qar (H7119)) avoir froid] 'et un homme de compréhension est d'un esprit cool:' il n'est pas facile de se déchaîner en mots passionnés, vantards ou babillards, mais ' épargnant ses mots. La version anglaise est la lecture marginale hébraïque [yªqar, pour honorer].
