_BUT AS FOR YOU, TURN YOU, AND TAKE YOUR JOURNEY INTO THE WILDERNESS BY THE WAY OF THE RED SEA._ Turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness. This command they disregarded; and determined, in spite of the earnest remonstrances of Moses, to force an onward passage. EXPOSITION DEUTERONOMY 1:19-5 Here Moses passes from the judges to the people at large; from charging officials to judge righteously, to reminding the people that they also had received from him commandments which they had to obey.
